Bristol Waste Company was struggling with new staff retention, so they asked us to create a series of employer brand films which showcased what the day-to-day of the jobs at the company look like.
We were humbled after working on this project and have a renewed respect for the Bristol Waste employees we captured on film, who work tirelessly to keep our streets and offices clean. And always with a smile.

The self-proclaimed talker of the company, Joel loves wrestling with a challenging brief and delivering ambitious and creative concepts. When he’s not busy chatting, he specialises in producing, directing and is a CAA-approved drone pilot.

Dan is the smiley one. Years of experience as a freelance camera operator and editor helped him hone his filmmaking skills, as well as perfect his smile. Always the optimist, Dan specialises in making the mundane look spectacular. You will find Dan behind the camera, directing or editing.
Did we mention Dan has a smile that could melt butter on a cold winter’s day?
Filmmaker
Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.
Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.
Filmmaker
Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.
Partner - Photographer
Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.
He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.
He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
