Ivy & Bristol Blue Glass cocktail

Partnership film between IVY collection and Bristol Blue Glass

IVY collection are famed for their cocktails and had planned an exciting partnership collaboration with Bristol Blue glass to create some iconic signature glassware.

They commissioned us to create a film that followed the journey of their signature glasses from start to finish. Watching glass-blowing is a mesmerising process and we wanted an edit to match. So we used beautiful close ups, plenty of fast cuts and a snappy soundtrack.

The end film was a satisfying showcase of the glass-making process from glowing molten ball to its final destination at the end of the IVY bar, filled with a classy cocktail.

Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.

Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.

Alex Duncan

Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.

Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.

He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.

He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
