Yorkshire & Seat Unique launch film

A short film celebrating Yorkshire Cricket Club.

Seat unique, the premium ticketing marketplace, commissioned us to produce a short film which celebrated their partnership with Yorkshire cricket club.

The challenge was to create a high-energy, impactful film without the option of shooting a matchday or with live sports and fans. How?

We pitched the use of First Person View (FPV) drones. We’d already successfully honed this style with projects at Gloucester cricket and Murraryfield, Scottish Rugby so we knew what to do and how to do it well. Flying those drones isn’t as easy as it might look!

The result was a slick fast-moving film with a birds eye view (quite literally) and some unique camera angles.

Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.

Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.

Alex Duncan

Filmmaker

Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.

Adam Gasson

Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.

He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.

He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
