Short trailer for the Weston-super-Mare art installation SEE MONSTER.

It came from the ocean and took over Weston-super-Mare for eight weeks. But what was it?

We worked with UNBOXED as a regional video partner to create a promotional film, stills and capture legacy content about the art installation, SEE MONSTER.

The content was shot over two days, one to capture the hyperlapse content and another to focus on the video and stills. We planned these visits for sunset to make the best of the dramatic light and it didn’t disappoint.

UNBOXED trusted us to have free rein on the edit and the result was a short, gritty and mechanical film based on our interpretation of the installation.

The team at UNBOXED were really happy with our approach and the film had some amazing feedback online.

Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.

Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.

Alex Duncan

Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.

Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.

He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.

He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
