EDP case study

Case study on Portuguese energy supplier EDP using the Domo platform.

We flew to beautiful Lisbon to create this film, travelling light, renting equipment out there and being as adaptable as we could for the client whilst on location.

Domo has a powerful business intelligence platform that lets companies pull all their data into one place, enabling them to make confident business decisions by getting the most out of their teams and data.

To help Domo demonstrate the power of its platform, we’ve been creating case studies to illustrate how customers are successfully using it. We put on our storytelling hats and boiled down lots of complicated technical processes into a clear and understandable narrative, which then flowed nicely in the video.

Plus, the incredible head office of EDP sits amongst the sunny Lisbon landscape and is one of the most dramatic and visually pleasing offices we’ve had the pleasure to film. Lucky us!

Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.

Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.

Alex Duncan

Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.

Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.

He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.

He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
